Abstract

The integration of robots into industrial settings has significantly transformed the manufacturing industry, leading to increased efficiency and productivity. However, despite the numerous benefits, the collaboration between humans and robots remains a challenging aspect. This paper discusses the current state of human-robot collaboration in industrial environments and presents novel approaches to enhance this interaction. Firstly, an overview of existing collaboration models is provided, highlighting the limitations of current methods such as task allocation, communication, and safety issues. Subsequently, we present a comprehensive framework for improving human-robot collaboration by focusing on the following aspects: adaptive task allocation, natural language processing, predictive maintenance, and collaborative decision-making. Furthermore, we discuss the importance of human factors, such as trust and comfort, in achieving effective collaboration. Finally, we explore the potential future developments and challenges in this field, emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary research to address these issues.
