The rapid advancements in technology have led to the development of numerous assistive technologies designed to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. However, the efficacy of these technologies is often hindered by issues of accessibility and usability. This paper aims to explore the challenges faced by assistive technology users and proposes strategies to improve their accessibility and usability. By analyzing both the technical and social aspects of assistive technologies, this research identifies key barriers, such as complex interfaces, lack of customization, and insufficient user training. Furthermore, it presents innovative solutions to overcome these challenges, including the integration of artificial intelligence for personalized support, the development of intuitive interface designs, and the implementation of inclusive design principles. Through a comprehensive approach, this paper emphasizes the importance of involving end-users in the design process to ensure assistive technologies are truly accessible and usable, ultimately leading to a more inclusive society.
