The advancement of autonomous navigation systems has significantly impacted the field of underwater vehicle technology, enabling more efficient and reliable exploration of marine environments. This paper focuses on the development and application of autonomous navigation systems for underwater vehicles. It discusses the challenges faced in underwater navigation, such as the lack of GPS signals, limited communication, and complex water conditions. The paper then presents various navigation techniques, including acoustic, magnetic, and visual navigation, as well as the integration of these methods for improved accuracy.
